So sometimes guys come up with awesome things to say. We know that they are awesome because they sound good, in our heads. Today I had an experience like this.
There is this girl, she must remain anonymous so we will call hey Cindy.
So Cindy gets her hair done all pretty and she walks into the gym. Being the very aware, thoughtful and handsome man that I am(minus the very aware, thoughtful and handsome) I strike up conversation, it went kinda like this…
“Your hair looks pretty”
“Well thank you”
(so far so good)
“So, uh, why is your hair all pretty, do you have a sweet date tonight”
“No, no date, I just wanted to go for a trial run for grad, you know, to make sure I know what I want.”
“Oh, so no date?”
“Nope”
“So, do you wanna go on a date now that you look all pretty”
“Excuse me?”
“So, do you wanna go on a date now that you look all pretty”
“BRAYDEN!!! THAT WAS SO MEAN, you just turned a very nice compliment into a horrible insult”
Yup, guys say dumb things.

The site finishes loading and off to the side in the recent event section I see… “Avs acquire new goalie” My mind races, has Jose Theodore finally been traded, or is it Budaj who has been traded. My mind was moving so quick that I forgot to click on the link instead I stared typing http://www.wordpre…. WAIT! I didn’t click the link! So I go back anxious to see who in their right mind took Theodore, and it turns out the avs just traded for this guy that I can’t remember. Nothing significant really, more of a waste of time. WAIT! That was mean. I didn’t mean to call the guy that I can’t remember a waste of time… I think I just shot myself in the foot.
